Daniel Monk Studio is a London-based interior design studio specialising in restaurant, bar and hotel design alongside a select number of residential projects. Comprised of a talented team of architectural designers, furniture designers and technicians, Daniel Monk Studio create interiors imbue with a rich sense of location and narrative.
Daniel Monk Studio works collaboratively with the client, taking time to understand each project’s personality and needs. This approach, alongside 20 years of specialist experience, results in characterful spaces that operate beautifully.
Each project is approached with the same attention to detail. From hotels and bars to private residential projects and larger developments, Daniel Monk Studio offers a comprehensive and highly skilled design experience, taking projects from concept to completion.
A natural love for art and design was an early characteristic of Daniel’s which grew and evolved as he journeyed onto Camberwell College of Art where he studied silversmithing and metalwork.
On completing his degree, Daniel worked with a number of interior design studios, using his craftsman’s approach to designing worlds that were acutely detailed, richly layered and functioned seamlessly.
Daniel gained a wealth of experience as a Senior Designer at the renowned David Collins Studio and as a Director at award-winning Martin Brudnizki Design Studio before establishing his own studio in 2016. From understanding the importance of creating a mood, getting to grips with the functionality of a business and ensuring a project works commercially, Daniel cites his time at DCS and MBDS as instrumental to his success.
